Father Daughter dance

Well it is that time of year again..the annual Father Daughter Dance..Luau Theme. Scott took the day off work to go. What a good Daddy! Jaden was so excited! I did her hair, took lots and lots of pictures, and off they went. After the dance they go to cold stone for ice cream...I cant wait till they come home to tell me all about it!

Houston we have a problem

We are back up and running..we were having computer difficulties.. I could have used our old computer, but Im kinda spoiled on the laptop!! Life has been busy as usual..dance is in full swing..and so is our pocketbook. LOL Scott had off all last week (not like he doesn't have a ton of days off anyway) but we spent a couple days at the Millers helping paint a accent wall in the living room and also Ki ki and Dylans rooms. I think they came out rather nice. That kinda got us back in the mood to finish painting our house..so we knocked out Landyns room! Only 5 more and a hallway to go! Its never ending. We also had a milestone in the Gwaltney household....drum roll please...Jaden shaved her legs for the first time. I know I know shes only 10..but as Scott says we have to pick and choose our battles..and this one is tiny compared to whats ahead. You would have thought she won the lottery..and after she shaved, she strutted around like a proud peacock!! It was so cute..she kept touching her legs, like it was the best thing. She couldn't wait to go over to her cousin Morgans to show off her "smooth legs". Today starts spring break for our kids..wish the weather was nicer, Scott only has to work one of the days, so hopefully we can do something fun like go to the new wildlife zoo over here by us. I heard its really nice since they remodeled and added a few things..Ill let you know if we get around to it. Ta ta for now.. Love ME!!!
