Easter with the Gwaltneys

Easter Morning..the ground was a little wet so the Easter bunny hid the eggs inside..hes a smart bunny..the girls loved their baskets, both girls got webkinz bunnys and Landyns basket full of fun toys and yummy treats.. Jaden being a little older wanted clothes..so she got her first Hollister shirt..she is growing up. We went over to Scotts sister house for good food and the kids did more egg hunting. Beth a friend got both girls another basket full of goodies..thank you Beth!! Then we went over to Kathys house to visit. We ended the night with a Hannah Montana movie that was really good. Easter was busy but we are so blessed to have wonderful family and friends.

The Mcdougalls came over to color Easter eggs with us..we did so many eggs that the kids got bored and left me to finish the last few!!

Landyns big girl hair cut

Landyn has bugged me forever to cut her hair short. I finally gave in but couldnt commit to the SHORT style that she wanted. We had different ideas on what was short...hers up to her ears and mine in the middle of her back..so we compromised and met in the middle. It was so hard for me to do because her hair was so long down to her bottom. My little baby is growing into a little girl! But as you can see she is so happy with her new hair cut!

Shopping shopping shopping..we had a long day, Mema was in and out of dressing rooms trying to get ready for her trip to England. Needless to say the girls and I found ways of entertaining ourselves. Landyn was so cute. She was working it!!

Spring Fever

We went to the spring training game last Sunday with Kendra & Harley..Scott was working so while Daddys away his girls will play..we sat in the tent with all you can eat food from Macayos and lots of good grown-up drinks..it was so windy, but the sun was warm..it was a good day. The only thing that could have made it better was if Scott could have been with us!!

Sat was a busy day..we went to dinner at a new Mexican restaurant here in Surprise with Jessica and Kevin, it was Jessicas birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!!! Then meet everyone else to bowl a bit later. We had a good time..Scott smoked us all! (I hate to loose) Then we went over to another group of friends at Michelle and Brendens house for his birthday. HAPPY 30th Brenden. By the time we arrived the party was in full swing, we didn't plan on staying late, Scott had to work in the morning. Well needless to say we made it home around 1. Scott was so tired but it was well worth it. We feel so lucky to have such great friends!!
