SNOW DAY!!! SNOW DAY!!!

Landyn has talked about snow day forever..we had to raise over 3 grand for the school to have snow brought in for them...well the day finally arrived ...the kids dressed as if they were going into a blizzard...hats, gloves, coat, boots..you name it they had it. I guess its the whole experience that makes "playing in snow" even better. Once they went inside they had hot coco and graham crackers. The day was a HIT

Rainbow Connection Competition

Jadens first competition as a "mini" on the PDA troupe dance team! They won two Gold trophies and one ribbon for the "hot feet" award. It was a long weekend, but really neat to see all the other dance teams and the amazing talent that our kids have. Jaden enjoyed every moment and had such a great experience..she is looking forward to the next one!

Jaden made Honor Roll, I cant be the only smart one in the household! LOL With her crazy dance schedule we were a little worried about her keeping her grades up, but she did awesome..Keep up the good work babydoll!!! We are so proud of you!

Its right around the corner "LOVE DAY"

Wow a NEW look to go with a NEW year and why not a Happy Valentines Day theme, and what more appropriate than with my two favorite colors PINK AND BLACK!! Not much going on this week, just painting and more painting, trying to get the house ready for the big move. I am so bored and tired from painting that Kendra and I decided to switch it up and start moving. Something, anything at this point. If we wait for the GUYS it will NEVER happen. So we started hauling furniture out of the house this morning and if I dont say so myself we did pretty darn good, watch out for the Corrington girls!! Were thinking of starting a moving business LOL!!! We also have a big (LONG) weekend ahead. Jaden starts her first competition as a mini, she competes on Saturday so Im pretty excited for her and very interested in what this all entails....Ill let you know how they did!! Ta ta for now!

The bigger picture

For those of you that did not know, we had a miscarriage (you might have noticed that I took the baby counter off the blog a few weeks ago) we found out at 7 weeks that the baby did not have a heartbeat. Ive had a hard time trying to put my thoughts together, to be able to update the blog about the pregnancy and about having a miscarriage. I think I needed to see this to the end before I able to write about it plus we were waiting for my body to realize that the pregnancy was not viable. So until we actually LOST the baby it was so hard to say I miscarried when I had not. I started having horrible pain late last night and miscarried. It was sad, and we cried. I never expected it to be so hard emotionally, but I feel better today than I have since we got the news that there was no heartbeat. I couldn't move on til it was REALLY over. God has big plans for us. I do know that we will be blessed with a bundle of joy when the time is right, and have lots of fun trying. I'm leaving it in Gods hands.

Tonight has been a busy night

Landyn has just informed me she would like a FISH. So I tell her I guess, dont see why not..then she lets me know if she doesnt like it, then I can take it BACK!! Out of the mouths of babes...my girls..I LOVE THEM!!

I WAS having a boring night , when I start getting texts from a couple friends from the dance studio, informing me that Jaden has told them a couple good jokes. A few minutes later I get a call from Rachel who tells me she has to pull Jaden and her daughter Tatum aside and explain why you dont tell jokes like the ones they told. ..so she starts telling me about the joke..ok I am laughing as Im typing..hold on...OK Ill explain ONE ..after everything I say.. you say the word ADDICTED. boat.......addicted.......hat.......addicted.......slapped your face........you get it!! I am hyperventilate on the phone as Rachel is telling me, and tears are literally running down my face. It was so random and unexpected, plus funny and especially when it comes from your sweet little angel girl. Well they tell Rachel that my niece Morgan told them..about that same time, Kendra comes over with Morgan and I tell her the story and we ask Morgan who told her. (Im convinced its gotta be from her older brother Brody who is in 6th grade and sounds like a 6th grade boy joke) Come on we all remember the little Johnny jokes!! But No Morgan informs us that one of the girls in her grade 4th told her..soo Im going to blame this one on public school system, they let anybody in LOL....I guess the youth and innocence starts going out the door about this time..what to do!!!
