MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Finally the big day is here. It was one of the busiest Christmas we have had yet. Jaden woke us at about 830 this morning, letting us know that Santa had been at the Gwaltneys. We of course had to wake my wonderful sleeper Landyn, who wasn't so sure about going downstairs (just in case Santa was still here). The bike from Santa was the HIT of the morning, Landyn was so excited that she even forgot about the MOON SAND she so desperately wanted, she even had a selling point for us (it never dries out) I swear she should be in the commercial. We had to hurry and get to Nanas for breakfast and open presents by 10. Then back home to get ready, make the all time favorite chicken dip (thanks Karey) and back on the other side of town by 2, at Aunt Kathys. We had fun hanging out with all the family and the girls got really nice presents from everyone. Then we were off again to get to my Uncle Roys to celebrate Christmas with my family by 5. The day seemed rushed and crazy but we wouldn't trade it for anything we feel so blessed to have all the family we do. The bigger the family means more presents..oops did I just say that...I meant more LOVE!! Hope everyone had a great Holiday!! Love the Gwaltneys

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. We all went to Aunt AJs, the food was great and the company even greater. Its always nice to be with family. Jaden and Landyn made out like bandits, and are so excited for Santa to get here. Landyn keeps checking the window. Both the girls got new PJs. As you can see Jadens fit her perfectly. Wonder if they make that shirt in my size! Tomorrow morning we are off to Nana and Grandpa Joes for breakfast, then to Aunt Kathys, then to my Moms for Dinner. We feel so blessed to have the families we do. We love you all!! Merry Christmas to all our friends and family

A wonderful night

Last night was Glendale Glitters Jaden and Landyn were amazing. I was a little worried about Landyn, but she rocked the house. I was one proud Mommy. The only downfall was Landyn would NOT take a picture!! It was nice to have everyone show up to see the girls dance. Even Aunt Kim showed up to support the girls. I took a few pictures of the girls back stage, and then my camara died. I was so bummed because I wanted pictures with everyone. The best picture I have of landyn!!

Glendale Glitters

Landyn got her costume for Glendale Glitters last night and she absolutely loves it. I think its the cutest outfit I have ever seen. She looks like a baby doll in it. All she did was giggle over and over again, and as soon as Scott walked in the door this morning, she was so proud to show her daddy her costume. Jaden gets hers Friday and Im sure they will be just as cute. Jaden is also getting excited for her Christmas party at the dance studio. They have been doing secret santa for the past three weeks and will find out who was there secret santa at the Christmas party this friday. Today is Landyns last day of school and Jadens is tomorrow. Santa is coming to town!!!

I love zofran

Up until about 2 this afternoon, I was pretty much miserable. Just a constant nausea and upset feeling. I left the house 2 times in the past few weeks, which gets OLD really fast. But I am happy to say that the doctor prescribed Zofran, and I feel AWESOME!! Kendra and I were talking about Zofran and what a difference it made in how I felt. I thought where was this drug back in the day with the other pregnancy's. It would have come in really handy. (Kendra gets really sick while pregnant too) Plus Scott will be happy to have my old self around. He said he doesnt like me this way I barely talk to him. Now that made me feel good. We all know how much I like to talk, and Im glad he likes it too!!! OK, let me fill everyone in on the past week. Jaden had three birthday parties, she has a busier calendar than me. Landyn started running a fever Sat evening, she even missed the skate party. It lasted till Monday. Now she has just a runny nose, but I guess it is going round. I just want her to get better for Glendale Glitters. Landyn also cant wait for Santa, she asks everyday "Santa come today" she also cant wait to open presents, it will be fun this year to see things from her eyes. Ill post a picture of Olivia and Aubreys birthday party that Jaden went to, Im glad she has lots of friends that she loves to spend time with!!!

ONE LITTLE HIPPO

We are home from our doctor appointment and we are happy to be the proud parents of ONE little hippo. Actually it looks more like a peanut than a hippo, lets hope this one has nuts of its own! We are so happy to be having one, we were actually a little scared of the double baby thing, but we were prepared for either! The due date is July 26, which is our Uncle Mikes birthday! Landyn's is July 16, mine is July 24, Mikes July 26, Kendra's July 28, Morgan and Ki Ki's Aug 10, and Jaden's Aug 12 wow that's a lot in a short time period. Plus a LOT of LEOS can the family stand one more?? Good luck Justin and Jake at your championship game tonight, sorry we couldn't be there. We know your going to kick some BUTT

WHEN IS THE HIPPO COMING!!

Well tomorrow is the big day. We find out how far along we are and also if there is more than one hippo in my tummy! For those of you that dont know about the HIPPO. Landyn has put in her request for a hippo instead of a baby, a girl hippo to be exact. Wonder if the song "I want a hippo for Christmas" that she is dancing to at Glendale Glitters has anything to so with it. I have been feeling YUCKY for the past two weeks and rarely leave the house. I cant wait for this stage to be over! Thank goodness for my sister she has helped sooo much, anything I need or want shes there! My mom also came over today and spoiled me! Kendra just took the girls to the school that Jaden goes to, they are having a movie night in the cafeteria "A Shrek Christmas" with hot chocolate, popcorn, and lets not forget the guy in the red suit SANTA.

Cabin Fever

Well it was offically a great weekend spending time at the cabin with family. The cabin itself was beautiful I will post pictures soon. The only draw back was that I wasnt feeling too well just slightly sick to my stomach and might have the flu. On the way home Dylan threw up in the car and I at least made it to a taco bell bathroom. We get home and Scott calls his mom to see how Dylans feeling and he was doing fine, about that same time Kristen texts to see if Im pregnant, so Scott went to the store and well Im happy to announce 2 tests later that I DONT have the flu and we will be expecting a bundle of joy in 9 months. We decided last month to put it on hold with everything else going on. (we had been trying for about 9 months)and had been back on the pill for one month. I guess God has another plan for us! We are so happy!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all..I am thankful for each and everyone of my friends and family for so many different reasons..you all touch my life in so many different ways and I am grateful for you all. The COLON is clean

Scotts colon is cleaner than it ever has been. He hardly remembers the whole experience. Scott is really funny coming out of surgery he had a HARD time waking up ( Dr Rodriquez said he really knocked him out) he was so out of it he even tried to bite at me for trying to wake him up. LOL. He did have two small polyps that the Dr. removed, but he said that everything will be fine from what they looked like. The rest of the colon was beautiful. So that was great news!! I'm so excited for Thanksgiving and all the yummy food and my favorite CHERRY PIE. I don't know what it is about cherries but I LOVE them. Then on Friday we are heading up north to stay in a cabin for the weekend with the whole family. Its going to be so much fun, and I heard it might snow. I hope so!

SUNDAY the DAY of NO FOOD

Scott had his 1 egg and toast and is doing much better than I expected. He did have a moment though when he thought about mixing Cheetos in water (yuck) to DRINK down. Well the reminder that we had Cheetos had me hiding in the pantry with a mouthful when he caught me orange handed. I felt so bad with a mouthful of what HE wanted. I couldn't help myself. LOL Jaden also had Alainas birthday party this afternoon. They had a salon day and had their nails and hair done. The girls had a blast. Then I ran over to Justice they were having a buy on get one free sale, so I picked up 2 web kins for the price of 1 for Olivia and Aubreys birthday. SCORE!!! I love it when I get a good deal. (plus they were even nice and gave me a extra 30% off for a coupon I didnt even had) Im loving JUSTICE!!

ALSO GREAT NEWS..we were able to raise about 17,000 for KIM Thanks to all of YOU!!! It would not have been possible without all the love support from each and everyone. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!!!

MONDAY IS THE BIG DAY!!

Scott is officially scheduled for his colonoscopy. Im sure hes going to be so happy to know I am blogging about his booty!! He goes Monday so Sunday will be a HARD day for Scott its 1 hard boiled egg and 1 piece of WHITE toast(couldn't even tell you the last time he ate white bread) and black coffee, the rest of the day clear liquids. Scott eats SO much all day its going to be tough. LOL. Jaden thinks this is about the funniest thing that shes ever heard just bringing up the subject of her Dadddys booty makes her laugh. We met with Kims "angel "Dr. Rodriquez he is such a wonderful man, we even had a couple "moments" in the office with him. He had his staff get Scott in ASAP and even told them to reschedule someone if necessary. Other than this its been pretty much dance dance dance around here. The girls are practicing for Glendale Glitters its coming up pretty quick on December 20th. Tomorrow is the Fundraiser for Kim pray that we have a great turnout and raise a booty full of MONEY!!!! THE FIRST SLEEP OVER

I am having a moment tonight. Landyn is at her first NON family sleepover. My stomach actually hurts LOL. She of course was so excited to leave. Is this a sign that she is growing up on me? Tomorrow is the UNDY 5000 colon cancer walk that we are doing for my sister Kim. We did the breast cancer walk for my Mom and took Landyn, well needless to say it was a long day and landyn was not a happy camper. Plus we also have the guns and hoses football game tomorrow evening that Landyn will go to. So My friend Heather offered to keep Landyn overnight because we are leaving the house at 530. Which means I need to get my little butt to bed. 2 good things Johnny Rockets Fundraiser/Prestige

First, a good friend of mine Karey is the manager at the happy valley Johnny Rockets location and has offered to donate 20% of ALL sales from 11 to 5 on Sunday December 7th to Kim. This is so awesome and I cant thank her enough for being so generous. So all we have to do is SHOW UP and EAT!! So please grab your family and spend some time together eating at Johnny rockets while helping another family...Second, I would also like to thank Summer and Stephanie they own and also teach at Prestige Dance Academy where Jaden and Landyn dance, they are doing a softball tournament fundraiser and once they heard of Kims situation they decided to raise the money for her. There are so many angels around us and we feel lucky that we have such a good support system, that continues to give in any way they can. We love you all

Happy anniversary to US..and Kendra and harley and kim and deron???

Well today is our anniversary, we share this special day with two other special couples the Millers and the Mcdougalls. I know this goes along with my last blog of my family being crazy, but hey we share everything and it works for us! Scott came home from work this morning with a dozen red roses and a card, that Im not aloud to read till later..hmmm whats up with that? Landyn had a play date with Lily aka (her best friend) so Scott and I were able to spend some alone time together. We went to the movies to see SawV. Hint: mornings on weekdays are awesome times to see movies NO ONE is there!! We even snuck in chipotle (burrito in a bowl). Our new favorite place to eat and its super duper YUMMY, and healthy. I think we might go out to dinner with my sister tomorrow evening, we had dance till 9 tonight its been a long day for the Gwaltneys..Good night

It was really nice having everyone together..I know we get caught up in the craziness of life, but God has a way of slowing you down and making you remember what matters most should come first.... family. Aunt Kathy has a sign in her house that says....we may not have everything together...but together we have everything..that about sums it UP!!! Families are crazy, God knows ours is, but I wouldn't have it any other way!!!

Bitter Sweet

Well I am leaving in a few min to do something Bitter sweet..I'm going to cut my sister-in-law Kim's hair. She started loosing it last night. I know she needs Chemo to help save her life, but this just SUCKS. Having hair is such a important part of being a woman. I also think that this is one of the first physical signs that Kim is facing, and I don't know about any of you but it would be very tough for me. I cant begin to understand how Kim is feeling right now. Kim, you will get through this. You have strength, a positive attitude, and belief in God..I believe that's half the battle. Just remember you will have beautiful hair again. Now we just will be able to see more of your beautiful face.

Much better day

Well today is a good day. First off Daddy came home (thats always a good thing)..then we picked up around the house..Now heres the sad part (went to our friends the Harmans funeral for there twin daughters) it was really beautful service and the Harmans are two of the strongest people I know. Our thoughts are with you guys!! When we got home..threw in a couple loads of laundry..cleaned out my closet (scotts is tomorrow) Kendra and Harley came over and grabbed both girls so Scott and I can go grab dinner...THANK YOU KENDRA AND HARLEY WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Can this day be over already

Ok lets count how many times Landyn has cried and if I had a nickel for every time my name was yelled today I wouldnt have had to have a YARD sale. My girls have been fighting non stop, this day started way to early for my normally noon riser. I had both girls up by 6am and out the door by 6 20 and all for a good cause a YARD sale. Which by the way I had all of about 20 bucks worth to sell, and I broke my quota making 21 bucks..whooo hoooo. But I had fun with the ladies. So to say the least landyn is MISERABLE.. with Jaden (aka) the instigator is not helping matters. I also am very tired and still have clients..its days like this when I want to CALL IN SICK. Scott is at work which sucks he has such a good job and Im glad hes home with us so often, but I want him around ALL the time. Well Im waiting for my second wind..wish me luck... by the way is it possible to change your name from MOM to something else LOL

Ok call us crazy but YES we had 14 ten year olds spend the night. It was honestly one of the best parties that weve thrown everyone had a blast with NO GIRL DRAMA (come on Ladies we all know what that is) Even Brody and Landyn had fun!! Happy Birthday Jaden.
